Terms of donation

By making a donation through this site, you agree to the following.

1. Donations are received by Quwwat Foundation (UK Charity #1208658) and ring-fenced for the project you select. Every transfer to a project is logged publicly on the campaign page.
2. If you opt in to Gift Aid, Quwwat Foundation submits the claim to HMRC directly. Your Gift Aid receipt is included with your donation receipt by email.
3. Stripe processing fees apply to every gift. At checkout you may choose to cover the fee so the project receives the full amount; otherwise the fee is deducted from your donation before allocation.
4. If a project exceeds its target, surplus funds will be applied to the project most in need within the active campaign, with full disclosure on the campaign page.
5. Refund policy: donations are non-refundable except in cases of obvious error (e.g. you donated twice by mistake). Contact us within 14 days for a refund request.
6. The public donation list shows the display name you chose at checkout. You can request removal at any time by emailing us.
7. All donation timestamps are UK time. Currency is GBP.
